Disciplined Wealth Management - DWM

Unlike a fixed-allocation strategy (Buy & Hope), Disciplined Wealth Management's (DMW) approach is dynamic in nature. Fund selections and asset class exposures are adjusted as market conditions warrant: the result is a diversified model that allocates funds demonstrating greater relative strength and momentum (leaders) while avoiding weak funds (laggards) that can drain portfolio performance.

DMW begins with an overall market-environment signal which identifies the market as being bullish, neutral or bearish and determines the asset class allocations. Next, it seeks to identify the top performing funds within the investment options available (Equity Style Boxes, Sectors, Internationals and Bonds), applies a tactical rotation to the strongest groups and avoids the laggards, with the flexibility to change the asset mix as market conditions change. To determine the best funds for investment, DWM uses quantitative analysis of proprietary relative strength to identify leading asset classes, and then ranks all the individual funds within those asset classes.
